After reading a book about his life I became fascinated by this mans` attitude and intelligent, peaceful approach to huge problems in India, so it was a great privilage to see for myself where he had lived and spent many hours spinning and thinking about how to resolve complicated problems of state and country.
The noise, heat, chaos of the city quickly dissapears as you step just a few paces within a courtyard of white buildings, shaded by trees and animated by birds and chipmunks, I feel his peaceful spirit has never left and can understand how he felt at peace here also. What a great man. His life was his message.
